• cnc-horizontal-milling

From the simplest bracket to the most sophisticated component, a variety of parts can be precision milled on our CNC Horizontal machining centers. Our speciality is working with prototype development along with short to long production lots. On receipt of customer drawings, our programming system allows our programmers to down load and program directly from supplied drawings, thus greatly improving the setup and response times. Our equipments include Mori Seiki SH50 and SH500 CNC machining centers with dual pallet systems for non-stop machining operations. Machines have 60-position auto tool changing features and speeds of up to 10,000 rpm.

LMI performs precision milling to exact customer specifications with vertical machining centers manufactured by Mazak, Haas, and Okuma. All programming is accomplished by down loads of drawings from customer to our Pro Cam system. This supports our 4th and 5th-axis milling operations by enabling easy transfer of programs to milling centers allowing for faster response time for our customers.

Specializing in precision CNC turning for prototype development, small and large production runs, we can machine parts from materials such as titanium, aluminum, stainless, mild steel, plastics and various other materials. Our CNC turning centers are programmed through a CamWorks system, which allows down load of customer drawings, ease of part program and down loads to machines for smooth response for machine setup and operation. Thus a quicker response for customer delivery.

  • quality

At LMI, quality planning starts with a proposal to the customer. Upon receipt of the order, quality procedures involved in all aspects of job planning, job routers, and job issues are analyzed. Our quality department determines the material inspection, job router inspection points, as well as final inspection/testing requirements. Having inspection points at all stages of production ensures proper sign off before the job routers move to the next operational step.
